  • Presenter: John Honeysuckle, Special Assistant to the Director of Metro Water Services
Topic: The impact of growth and development on the antiquated water system in Nashville and District 2
  • Comments from District 2 Council Lady Kyonzte Toombs
  • Review and planning session

Great news!! This week Metro Council authorized a $511,310 grant to Rebuilding Nashville Together dedicated to the Haynes-Trinity-Bordeaux area for upgrades to existing homes. Here is a video of the presentation on August 8, 2019 at the Haynes-Trinity Coalition meeting

REBUILDING TOGETHER NASHVILLE WAS ONE (1) OF (7) SEVEN ORGANIZATIONS TO BE GRANTED FUNDS FROM THE BARNES FUND

The two ladies pictured in the video compiled and submitted the necessary documentation to secure a grant from The Barnes Fund in the amount of $511,310 to revitalize homes in some areas across the Cumberland River (Haynes-Trinity-Bordeaux Areas) which was approved by the 40-member Metro Council. We APPRECIATE these two ladies and their commitment to our neighborhoods! Thank you, Kaitlin Dastugue and Amanda Kaiser! What a beautiful job explaining Rebuilding Together Nashville tonight at the Haynes-Trinity Neighborhood Coalition tonight!
