Haynes District 2 Scholarship Fund
The Haynes District 2 Scholarship Committee demonstrates a commitment to its community and the city of Nashville by awarding scholarships to students within District 2 who wish to continue their education beyond high school. High school students graduating in the 2026 Spring Semester, who have been admitted to a post-secondary educational institution, and who plan to enroll in an institution of higher learning in the 2026 Fall Semester, are encouraged to apply.  

Essential criterion for applicant review is the applicant’s: (1) financial need, (2) residency within District 2, and (3) acceptance at a post-secondary educational institution. Other criteria include academic performance, school activities, community service, letters of reference, essay submissions, and additional information outlined in the application packet. An interview session may also be required of all applicant finalists.
